  • Monday January 21st-The Albany Civil Rights Institute will be open from 10 am-2 pm.
  • Monday January 21st-The march from Old Mount Zion will begin @ 12 pm.
  • Thursday January 24th-The first Community Night of the year will begin @ 6:30 pm. "Children of the Dream" contestants will discuss their art work.
  • Monday February 25th- A tribute to Ola May Quarterman, "Albany's Rosa Parks," will begin @ 7pm
  • Thursday February 28th-The 6th Annual Black History Concert will begin @ 6:30 pm at the Albany Municipal Auditorium. Featuring The Freedom Singers, The Junior Freedom Singers, The Albany Symphony Orchestra & a combined choir of DCSS choruses
  • March 26th-Community Night will start @ 6:30 pm. Author Elvie Barlow will discuss his book "Covered by the Blood," which traces The Stephens Family's heritage. Book signing to follow.
  • April 21st-Community Night will start @ 6:30 pm. Albany native & author Cathy Wilson Johnson will read excerpts from her book. Book signing to follow.
  • May 10th-The 6th Annual Boyd-Grant Community Service Awards Dinner will begin @ 7 pm at The James H. Gray Civic Center. Featuring Dr. David Marion, 41st Grand Basileus of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

    • Individual tables-$50
    • Full page color ad-$100
      • Deadline to submit ads is April 15th
  • Community Night every 4th Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm*
  • Freedom Singers performance every 2nd Saturday from 1-3 pm
  • Open every Martin Luther King, Jr. Day from 10 am-2 pm
  • Free admission for Active Military and their families from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
  • Free admission for Veterans, Active Military and First Responders and their families during the month of November
